Currently I have one stock fan on the driver side and an checker auto after-market electric fan
on the other side of my 87 xj 4.0. The problem is the stock housing is broken and I had to
destroy the lower center tabs to fit the after-market one on the passenger side.
I really don't want to destroy the new radiator electric fan mounting tabs so is their a better
solution.

Best thing is a replacement fan from a 97-01 Cherokee. Direct drop in
with more efficient blades.
