your temp sensor says your overheating, but the engine isn't hot (it's
barely warm), nothing is leaking, nothing is spewing, nothing is smoking,
the radiator and the cap is cold, and there is plenty of coolant in
the overflow bottle.

Bad temp sensor?
Any codes?

That's kind of what I was thinking.
Codes are for people with diagnostics. That I am not.

Air bubble in thermostat housing?
Probably bad sensor. Unplug it, what happens?

It's Miller time?

You've done the open system conversion, right? If so, check the wires to wherever you put your sensor (t-stat housing?).
Offline
maybe the wire came off the sender? when they short to ground, they peg.

Is the sensor pegged? Generally the gauge has +12V on one side, the
other side is wired to ground through the sensor. If it's a lamp the
sensor is just a switch, something like a gauge, the sensor has internal
resistance that varies with what it's measuring. With a temp gauge, the
hotter it gets the less resistance, the more current flowing through the
gauge, moving the needle. If it's pegged then you've got full current
flow and can possible burn out the gauge (depending on the design).
Check the wires, and then check the resistance of the sensor. With your
jeep, you've probably got the wire pinched/cut between two dents in the
valve cover or something. :)

It's not pegged. But it will peg itself after a couple minutes of driving. It's the integra not jeep.

Oh, so it's operating then. What's your overflow bottle look like?
Sounds like air in the system. Come to think of it, did you add water
after we did the transmission, or is this the other honda? Remember
almost nothing came out when I disconnected that upper hose, so your
water level was a tad low.
