A handfull of fresh sawzall blades, a BFH, a little bit of welding,
grinding, and a couple cans of undercoating! can certainly B done!
Just Remember....
Its EASY and cheap as hell to "Fit" big tires!
Its a lot of work and can get real expensive to "Run" big tires!

There's no possible way a stock dana35 will last with 35" tires on
it. I even doubt 33's. I ruined my dana35 when it was on 31's, and
I am not one to break axles.
I have a 6" lift. When I went up to 35's I needed offset wheels and
I needed to trim/hammer the HELL out of my rear fenderwell to get
them to fit. I also made sure I had a dana44 underneath too.

My TJ has 35's under it with a D35.. The fact that he's not locking it and the fact that it's under an XJ will last longer then the one under my TJ in the same wheeling environment.
Remember my TJ doesn't see roks very often.. if it does, I carry spares for it..

Well I ran 35s on my 4.0 YJ with a D35 & ARB & never broke an axle
until I was just beating it like I stole it. All seems to be driving
style & some luck I suppose. I will swap in a 44 or 8.8 at some point
but will probably be a while since there is this lack of money thing
going around.
