trans and t/c is back in my heep

I am a few hours away from starting my jeep up again! Last night I
got the new transmission mounted to the engine.

I'm taking my time, making sure everything is torqued properly and
well routed.

I have one question for you tranny gurus (not the ones you find on
Van Buren... get your head out of the gutter!)

This new trans has been sitting in my shed for about 4 years. It
looks to be in great shape... but the internals have been pretty
much bone dry the whole time. Is there anything I should do prior
to starting her up, other than filling the trans up to the
designated capacity? --A power flush or maybe after I get it
running, do a few 3qt trans oil changes within the first couple
hundred miles?

Also, does anyone want my old AW4 Transmission? It's a 21 spline
output and has 207kmiles on it. It was still running strong.
Reverse started to become unreliable on cold starts that was my only
issue. It happened to me only like 3 times... after doing a little
brake torquing in drive, reverse would work. I will even throw in
the 21 spline TC input shaft.

I was told that a core charge for this thing is $250-350 alone.
$100 and it's yours :D

I'd change the input/output seals. They're probably all dried out and cracked by now.
