Anyone have an HO gas tank that they don't need? Or will a renix tank
work with my HO pump? I have a nice dent in mine.

remove gas cap & blow....
actually, while welding up my Galaxie tank i learned that a shop vac running in reverse will blow out dents pretty easily. maybe worth a shot?
Offline
how many gallons does it hold now? is it even worth it?

I filled the other day it holds about 2 gallons less. The dent is
pretty substantial,

I'm thinking I may be able to reach inside with a dolly and hammer most
of it out. I may drop it and try that.

Try a plunger and pull it out?

Renix will work but it doesn't have a slosh bowl like the HO tanks have.

Maybe you could use the same trail method for seating the bead on a tire/rim!? :)

When we did the fuel pump on the MJ, we used compressed air to make
sure that the lockring and o-ring were on securely. We plugged up all
the outlets and filled the tank with air.
The tank was popping and bulging. At the time, we remarked how you
could probably fix a pretty good size dent that way.

and sometimes you can attach a suction cup to the outside and pull out
the dent.
On my tank, we had to cut a hole and bang it out. But the problem with
banging it out can lead to removing the inner liner of the tank, which
is really expensive stuff. And you have to redo the whole tank.
