Since we purchased our Cherokees, I find the outside rearview mirrors
are prone to breaking thier plastic clip mounts.
They appear to be made in the break-away style.
I have had to replace 3 of the 4 mounts 91 Laredo (2) electric and 94
Sport (1) manual
I noticed the other day while parked next to a 97-98 Sport that the
mirrors are shaped and designed a bit differently.
Has anyone used the "newer" style on their "earlier" Cherokee?
They LOOK like they would be able to withstand a car wash, unlike the
older style that I am afraid would become a projectile inside the car
wash.
I am forced to bring this question up here for discussion rather than
just run to the J/Y and yank one off a newer Cherokee and try it out
on an older one as MY U-Pull-It doesn't seem to have any of the newer
Cherokees.
