Re: Intro

Welcome Rich.
I just used the mounts that came with my CB to mount mine to the plastic console to the right of my legs. Seems to have worked well.

Re: Intro

Welcome.
I used a 3/8 x 3/4 peice of steel, bent it to reflect the curves in the driveshaft tunnel, drilled two holes in it for the mounting of the CB, and used the left front seat mounting bolt.  The thickness of the strip of steel  prohibits the flexing when off-road and the antenna coax can be run under  the counsel, under the rear seat and out to the antenna mount.  Also a cigarette plug adapter can be used to supply power to the CB.  The right  power port is always hot, and the left one is switched with the ignition.
