Another new member '99 Classic questions and needs forum x

I just picked up a '99 Classic with 115,000 miles on it. I have alot of questions that an owner's manual would answer, but I do not have one.
Need one: a spare owner's manual if anyone has one. I am willing to pay for it, incl shipping.
I cannot figure out if the fog lights do not work, or if there is a secret to turning them on. There is a rocker switch above the gear selector. It doesn't light or seem to do anything. I changed the relay that is labeled "fog lights" under the hood, but I am wondering if there is a fuse for them. I haven't gotten around to checking the bulbs themselves yet, as I just rolled it into the driveway this evening.

I also need to know, is there a particular ATF that this Jeep needs? I know that Mopars in general need ATF+4, but if I have my facts straight, this is not a Chrysler trans, but a Japanese one. Correct?

What should I be on guard for? Known problems?

Also, if anyone has a factory service manual for this thing, please email me directly if you want to part with it.

you might find one on ebay; my gf got one for her '01, new in plastic, for ~$25 last year.

correct. it's an aisin-warner 30-40le also widely used by toyota, but also nissan and isuzu and probably others on a few models, and even volvo on their rwd cars.

ebay also, perhaps. dyment - which i don't have contact info for - is the official publisher for many factory manuals. if they do jeep and/or mopar, they'll have it - for a price.
